DOCTOR'S DILEMMA
I am quite sure that one of our leaders, Mr. A.B. was also
overtreated for his cancer and died with hardly any white blood cells in him.
Are the doctors justified in taking such decisions without considering the
likely suffering they might be inflicting on the patient? I think a physician
needs to develop the courage of his conviction to tell his patient and the
latter's relatives, the full implications of certain therapies. One has to
accept philosophically the limits of science!
